The Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll World Championships for the Lady formations, Juveniles and Juniores were held in Schaffhaussen, Switzerland. Ukrainian favourite couple  Kira Grokhova & Oleksandr Tsvietkov win Gold among the Juveniles and  Sergey Svirin & Angelina Mushto bring back the Junior World Champion title to the Russian Federation for the second time in a row. Hungarian formation The  Szupergirls  beat the contestants in the Lady category to the places and go for the title.

With four couples in the final round, Ukraine was by far the most successful country in the Juvenile category. Gold couple  Grokhova/Tsvietkov (11th place in 2017) were followed by their countrymen  Kyrychenko/Hurin (Silver, 5th place in 2017) and the Russians  Naumova/Kapitanov (Bronze). Elizaveta Naumova has already been Vice World Champion with her former partner Matvey Sokolov in 2016.

As World Champions from 2017 in the Junior category,  Mushto/Svirin (Russia) go for Gold once more in this championship. Croatian couple  Polina Rykova & Noa Lilih win the silver medal. Juvenile World Champions  Portillo/Delatorre (France) from 2016 complete this year's World Championship podium on the Bronze place.

Among the Lady formations reigning European Champions The  Szupergirls  confirm their favourite status and become the new World Champions. The girls beat last year's champions  Charm from Russia, who win the Bronze medal. Somewhat surprising another russian formation,  Coolcats, become Vice World Champions. Last year's bronze medallists  Sol Invictus earns the 4th place.
