As much as we all wish for it, life, unfortunately, is not only about dancing. This is why freshly chosen World Champions Sophie Allaf & Thomas Audon announce the end of their career in the wake of the German Open Championships. "Other projects in our lifes require more of our time" the couple state in a post on Facebook. After Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll dancers Anna Miadzielec & Jacek Tarczylo recently left the stage, this time the Rock-n-Swing Dance community sees two great Boogie Woogie dancers stop competing.

The European Champions of 2017 and World Champions of 2016 and 2018 Allaf/Audon decided not to paricipate in competitions any longer. For seven years they held the french flag high on the international stage and inspired the next generation of dancers with their passion for Boogie Woogie. Your Rock-n-Swing Dance Portal wishes Sophie & Thomas all the best for their future and we hope to see them again.

It's unbelievable, given the fact that seven years ago, when we started to dance with Sophie, we couldnt imagine to be world champions even once. We dreamed a lot about it, of course, but today we can say that we are double World Champions. It's.... even more than amazing... Waouuh !
World Championship Stuttgart, Slow and Fast Final
It's with a lot of emotion that we want to tell you that it was our last competition in Boogie Woogie. And what a pleasure and proudness to finish with this title !! But we have others projects in our lifes, that requires more of our time... anyway for sure we will keep on dancing boogie because we just can't help it, boogie is the dance of our heart, and it will be always part of our life.
During seven years, our competition life has been full of great joys, deceptions, big doubts, determination and lot of work... some people in French Federation tried to take us down, it was hard but we always got up ( with the help of people who always have been with us ). We just want to say that everything is possible if you really want something, even if it's hard.. don't forget why you love to dance !!

We want to thank all the people, audience and supporters, all the competitors who always push ourselves to be better, and thank you to WRRC and all members for the work you do for the development of Boogie Woogie.
We want to thank Culture Danse and Stéfan Michel, which whom we past 3 years of emotions, training, and a lot of success. We want to thanks also all the people who has always supported us during hard times, they are few and they will recognise themselves. They helped us to keep motivation and to achieve our dream.
So, now it's time to say goodbye... and go ahead on new adventures !! yeehaaa! We will keep you updated ! Love you boogie folks!
Anyways we will see you soon in workshops and boogie events!! Can't wait..
