After 2015 and 2016 Main Class Free Style couple Darina Kozlova & Alexey Kondrashin from the Russian Federation win European Gold in 2018 for the third time in a home game in Moscow. Their team mates Angelina Mushto & Sergey Svirin win the title in the Junior category. For the Juveniles, Kira Grokhova & Oleksandr Tsvietkov confirm their favourite status and return to Ukraine as European Champions. Finland based couple Mari Munne & Juho Päivinnen win their first World Cup Boogie Woogie.
With some top aspirants for the title missing in the Main Class Free Style category, Kozlova/Kondrashin return to the top position after not participating in last year's Championship. In the pure Russian-German final their fellow team members Margarita Charkovskaya & Ivan Kudryashov win the silver medal before Michelle Uhl & Tobias Bludau from Germany.
In the Juveniles category the Ukrainian, Hungarian and Russian couples were dominant. Kseniia Mohylchenko & Vladyslav Pavlyuchenko became 3rd and, thus, brought another medal back to Ukraine in addition to the Champions Grokhova/Tsvietkov. Hungarian couple Kitti Szöke & Kornél Kovács fill up the podium as European Vice-Champions.
In the well-mixed Junior final co-favourites Ophélie Portillo & Marty Delatorre from France, who have won two World Cups this year, are left standing against the European Champions Angelina Mushto & Sergey Svirin from the Russian Federation. Croation couple Polina Rykova & Noa Lilih win Bronze.
In the World Cup of the Boogie Woogie Main Class swedish couples Sara Victorin & Pontus Spelmans as well as Cajsa Weinemo & Matej Dujakovic dance to the Silver and Bronze Medal behind Munne/Päivinnen .
