A World Championship and World Cup took place last Saturday in the swiss town Geneva Grand-Saconnex with 75 couples and 4 formations from 14 countries. In the ARR Main Class Formations danceclass at the  World Championship Geneve Grand-Saconnex, formation  Rock Comets beat the three other competitors in the russian-only formation competition.  Anastasia Gusarova & Konstantin Samoylov are the winners in the ARR Main Class Free Style category at the  World Cup. The judges placed  Anna Tyutyunyuk & Masi Saurén on the 1st place among the BW Main Class finalists. The last gold medal of the weekend goes to Junior Couple  Arianna Martinucci & Fabio Rovedoni.

Formation  Rock Comets danced to the top spot among four ARR Main Class Formations, all from the Russian Federation, becoming the new  World Champions. They were followed by their countrymen  Fenix, who ended the competition on the second place. Formation  STAR FORCE earned the bronze medal.

Among 37 ARR Main Class Free Style couples at the  World Cup, the gold medal went to  Anastasia Gusarova & Konstantin Samoylov. Their team mates from Russia, couple  Margarita Charkovskaya & Ivan Kudryashov placed themselves in the middle of the podium, bringing home the silver cup.  Darina Kozlova & Alexey Kondrashin complete the podium on the 3rd place. The only non-russian couple to disturb the MCFS final,  Michelle Uhl & Tobias Bludau from Germany, danced to the fourth rank.

In the BW Main Class category, recently crowned  World Champions  Anna Tyutyunyuk & Masi Saurén from Finland took the lead in a field of 27 couple once more. Coming from Italy, the performance of World Championship Bronze medallists  Alessia Ghezzo & Dimitri Masotti earned them the second place. The performance of  Roxane Véron & Florent Llamas from France catapulted them right to the bronze spot.

The gold medal went to  Arianna Martinucci & Fabio Rovedoni from Italy in the BW Junior danceclass, where 11 Couple participated. Following on the second place, their italian friends  Vittoria Fermini & Alessio Vigano lost closely to the winners. The third place is occupied by  Martine Karlsen & Thobias Jacobsen from Norway. Two weeks ago,  Paulina Reuß & Janis Penzkofer from Germany, became Junior  World Champions but managed to gain the 7th place in this World Cup only.
