Klub Podwawelski from Poland is up to host its annual spring competition in Krakow for each and every Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll category. The Main Class Formations will fight for the title in the European Championship this Saturday, followed by the World Championship for Junior formations on Sunday. Couples from Juveniles to Main Class Free Style as well as the Girl and Lady formations will go for Gold in their respective World Cup competitions, spread over the two days. All of it will be broadcasted via a Livestream. And rumour has it, there will be live audio commentary provided by World class dancers.
The huge competition is one for early birds. The first rounds are scheduled to start at 8:30 am in the morning on Saturday. Preliminary rounds will be finished by 5:30 pm and the finals will start at 6:15 pm. The Sunday events start at 10 am and the time-table is otherwise similar to the Saturday part. You could be interested in this as well...More than 200 world-class formations and couples in total will perform on the dancefloor in the course of the weekend. On the forefront you'll be able to cheer at World Champion formations Rock Comets (Russia, Main Class) and Vis Amoris (Hungary, Juniors). Among the Main Class Free Style couples SAP World Cup Final winners Michelle Uhl & Tobias Bludau (Germany) will pursue reigning World Champions Darina Kozlova & Alexey Kondrashin.
And you'll be able to follow all of them in the Livestream. The semi-finals and finals are announced to receive live audio commentary from World Championship Bronze medallist Anne Ragnhild Olstad (Norway, 2013) and four-fold World Champion Anna Miadzielec (Poland, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016). The ladies shall share the microphone with former Main Class Contact dancer Rasto Banas (Slovakia).
