The World Championship Main Class is over. The Palais des Sports des Lyon was host to the most important event for Rock 'n' Roll Couples this year. The russian couples Osnovina/Chistikov and Sbitneva/Youdin go for the Gold and Silver Medal. Miadzielec/Tarczylo from Poland win Bronze.
The hitherto favoured couple Kozlova/Kondrashin from the Russian Federation surprised with an insecureness in one element of their high-level acrobatic program. The other world ranking list top couples didn't miss their chance to overtake, which left the fourth place for Kozlova/Kondrashin in the World Championship final.
The triumph of Osnovina/Chistikov came somewhat as a surprise as well. While reaching the podium in every major WRRC competition this year and winning the Top10 Main Class competition in Krakow in spring 2017, the more experienced couples were ahead in the other World Masters and the Rimini Top10 competition this year.
Thus, our congratulations to your great success. See their performance for yourself by re-watching the footwork and acrobatic final from Lyon.
